Activites around Danao Adventure Park
My Bohol getaway included a day trip to Danao Adventure Park, which is around an hour and a half drive from the main city of Tagbilaran. As soon as we arrived, we were greeted by the friendly staff and given an orientation about the different activities offered in the park.
The park offers various activities, including caving, kayaking, root climbing, and more. However, what we were most excited about was the extreme activities like the Suislide and the Plunge. The Suislide is a 200-meter zipline that starts from the top of a mountain and takes you over a river and a lush forest. The Plunge, on the other hand, is a 50-meter free fall from a tower. Both activities are not for the faint of heart, but we were up for the challenge.
We started with the Suislide, which was an exhilarating experience. The view from the top was breathtaking, and as we glided through the air, we felt a sense of freedom and excitement. The lush greenery below us was a beautiful sight, and we couldn’t help but let out a scream of joy.
After the Suislide, we took a short break before the next activity. We watched other tourists try out the different activities in the park, and it was amazing to see how much fun everyone was having.
Next up was the Plunge, and we were a bit nervous as we stood at the top of the tower. The staff gave us a brief orientation, and before we knew it, we were falling towards the ground. The adrenaline rush was intense, and as we reached the bottom, we couldn’t help but feel proud of ourselves for facing our fears.
